As a Senior UX/UI Designer on the B2B mobile team at IBM Watson Weather and Media, I successfully designed and launched a new weather app that delivers snapshots of relative local weather information with negative and positive meteorologist highlights generated by an intelligent rules engine.
I facilitated Design Thinking sessions with interdisciplinary stakeholders, such as meteorologists, business managers, data scientists, and developers, in order to shape a new experience for weather presentation. From initial concepts to rapid iterative wire-framing and prototyping, user testing, and incorporating early feedback on interactive prototypes, I oversaw the development to a successful product launch.
